doves disappeared

went up to our sunflower field (panther swamp area) this afternoon - didn't hardly see any birds. they have been there all week and now they have disappeared - i don't get it.We have worked our buttts off to prep that sucker. I guess this weather had something to do with it . Any body else in the delta have this problem [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

my fields have been HIT-AND-MISS for the past two weeks... weather may play a part or maybe another field has attracted them temporarily.... when the shootin begins you will know... good luck to you and wish me a little luck also.... i don't know what to expect.... but i'll be there.....

It doesn't help that hundreds of thousands of acres of corn and milo were harvested in the past couple of weeks. It really spreads out the birds in a short period of time.

the field i am hunting tommorrow has had birds for the past couple of weeks. but the last couple of days they have been few and far between as well. [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img]

maybe the cool front pushing through today has something to do with it. High tommorow is only supposed to be 83. I'm going to a pay field in Claiborne county and its gonna suck if there ain't no birds!!!! Good luck to all!!
