First Ducks

Postby DESOTO DUCK » Tue Jan 16, 2007 11:29 am

A good friend of mine recently leased some land and invited me to go hunting with him. He is new to the sport and wanted me to show him the ropes, so yesterday morning we went. About daybreak we could hear wings so we got ready. A pair of mallards were commited and they got in range. A shot rang out and the pair went down! My friends first bird(s) downed with one shot. He was excitied and I told him I had only seen it happen on TV.

I had to just brag a liitle and heres a pic:

Awesome man!! I have been lucky enough to introduce a couple of friends to duck hunting and they love me and hate me for it. They love me for because they had no idea how much fun it it and they hate me because of the dolars they spend on "stuff" and the hours in the off-season they spend thinking about the coming season.
