Delta National
Ive got a private spot to hunt between Panther Swamp and Delta National. Hunt Panther from time to time, but never Delta National. Where is a good place to start?
Well...you could start at HWY 14 and work your way towards Redwood.
Seriously, I don't hunt there much, but they alternate the flooding of greentrees year to year.

You musta missed the previous topic re Panther Swamp. The hunting is great during the week. You can just ride down the levee and see ducks and park on down a little ways then hike in and set up. Often you can set up not far from the levee. The best areas are the fields up towards the northern end. Some folks will try to steer you away from there, though. Don't listen to them, they are just jealous.

Seriously, I just got back from Arkansas. You wouldn't believe the ducks they have for this early. had to go thru the Miss delta to get there and did not see one single duck until after I crossed ole muddy. Its a shame. I'm thinkin of liquidating my camp and relocating up there. From what I saw, you cant go wrong.
