Ive been drawn to hunt there the year it opened. Every bit of it was pass shooting. IT SUCKED. I dont know who picked the holes but the didnt want to come in.

On the brighter side i have heard of ONE person that killed a few on a drawn hunt.

I didn't know East Mississippi had any ducks. I thought ducks had problems landing in hilly country. However the delta is like a big airport and we have them locked on IFR.

litlhitch, sprig and any you other Bulldogs. I went to MO U....'67-'71, we hunted the GTR; killed a few malards. Back then they were raising Canadas behind Bluff Lake in the sanctuary. No season on them then. Anyway, back then there was no Tenn Tom. My suggestion is north of Starkburg around Pheba there's a creek bottom that was owned by black farmers. They let us hunt their back fields. Beaver pond flooded into rye grass, we slaughtered the mallards. We even brought the "dorm Dad" with us and let him kill a few. Also below Noxubee a farmer let us shoot mallards in a dry corn field. Just an idea, may be condos now. One other thought, Duck hunt the morning in GTR and deer hunt the afternoon. Possible record bucks in the black belt region of Noxubee. Oh my I just thought that was 33 years ago. :? Anyway Go Bulldogs-Beat Ole Miss :P
