Hog hunting

Postby deredwine » Fri Dec 15, 2006 9:09 am

I am wanting to go on a wild hog hunt in Feb. If you know of a good fair chase outfitter to recomend please let me know. Also If anyone on here has a good place to hog hunt I will either swap a hunt or pay to hunt.
Be still boys they're fixing to do the dance.

Willing to drive?

M-Y Ranch in east Texas. $85 a day for hunting $150 a day for mobile home lodging.

First weekend in Feb is booked, but last I talked to him the rest of the month was open.

SEVERAL....and I mean SEVERAL ranches in South Texas offer cheap hog hunts. Anywhere from $75 per day and up. Generally speaking this hunting is done over corn/bait...as is just about all Texas hunting.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Posted this the other day.

I've never hunted at Water Valley but I know Jake Utsey and he runs a first class operation. I have hunted all over Washington and Choctaw County in the Tombigbee River swamp and it is covered up with hogs.
Here's the link.

I have quail hunted with Rex Pritchett at Great Southern Outdoors near Union Springs and I hear they have good hog hunting. They are nice folks as well.

Southern Sportsman is a good operation in Lowndes County that offers reasonably priced hog hunts. I know Dave Lyon and Jim Mason who own and operate the Southern Sportsman. Good folks who ensure that y'all have a great time.

i got a friend in Jackson that has as many hogs as you want to shoot. He said after deer season he may be able to fit you in for a minimal fee. Trust me, he has a lot of land on the pearl river and it is loaded.

Come here to New Zealand. No guns they just stick and throw them on their backs like a back pack and take a photo with the blood running down their face to their big smile.
