They were on sale at the time I posted that. I clicked on a sales circular they emailed me.

I went back just now and looked again. ...5 day sale ended 11/28 at midnight....sorry. :(

They are worth the $179 though.

How big are the boots on the Cabela's? I don't like the huge moon boot types.

Been using 3mm Cabelas stocking foot and for me that's the way to go. Cheap, warm, and easy to get on and off. Got tired of getting cramps in my calves every time I pulled my boots off.

I'm on my second set of the Lacrosse Brush Tuff Extremes. The first set leaked around the boots after the first season and I got them replaced FOC. This will be my third season in thereplacements. No leaks at this time. I would have never paid $240 plus for waders but my father in law if friends with a wholesaler. I got them for just shy of a buck($100). They are warm, but you probably figured that. I like the hand warmer. When you don't want it or the water is deep you can pull the hand warmer out. I like the shell loops on the front. I like the mesh pocket on the front b/c you can see what's in it with out digging around, but then it's not really big enough to hold much. I've started hunting out of a layout and all the crap on the front really gets in the way trying to come up and shoot birds. I thinking about a set of waist highs to give me more freedom of movement.
