Anyone heard of Harold Freeman - Gunsmith

This gentlemen is in Meridian MS. and is the real deal. He is a retired machinist from the railroad and was working there when the steam locomotive was king. When you need a hard to find left-handed screw for a Russian revolver he'll just make one, need some grips for your 45? choose your wood and he'll make them. Would you like a tapered octagon barrel for your Ruger Blackhawk,? no problem he'll make it! The man is amazing, he even makes custom leather holsters to fit you and the gun. He makes his own jigs to make the parts!! Most gunsmiths are just parts installers but not Mr. Freeman, they just don't make fellows like him anymore. Around here we are very lucky to have him and will be in a mess when he's gone.
If ya'll guys have any gun headaches that nobody can fix, take it to Mr. Freeman. I figure if the man has lots to do he'll live forever He's starting to wind down his business as he gets old and he won't work on any "pot metal" guns, as he calls the cheapo stuff, but a wonderfully cantakerous guy nontheless. Oh yea, he still charges 1950's prices and simple fixes are often free (or $5.00). He'll put a micrometer on your barrel and if you have enough "meat", invector chokes installed are $74.00.
