How does one raise 4 or 5 million to buy a dream duck hunting camp?

Ha. How many pimps and ho's do you know with a $5M duck club? You might try practicing medicine, suing someone or winning the lottery. Other than that, ask RR or Bankermane

You might try giving Warren Buffet a call. He appears to be in a generous mood here lately.

Not sure if he likes to duck hunt though?

If we set it up as a charitable org we might just pull that off.
I think we could setup bylaws that we had to take terminally ill or handicaped kids like every other weekend. Yea, that would make it all good, and would be serving a need that I would feel great about.

Let look into getting Warren's phone number.

While this post is mostly wishful thinking on my part I am somewhat serious about it.

The place I have in my brings about 80 thousand a year from a farm lease and another 5 thousand a year from CRP payments.

Any more ideas on raising capital.

All I really want to do is chase ducks. Anyone else out there think about ducks all the time? I need help.

its called 'venture capital', and is available for the right project.

Coming up with that amount of money is not overly difficult. Paying it back is where the hurt comes in. 8)

thought about that too, then I woke up! There is a place about 20 minutes from my house that may be up for sale now. Its about 2200 acres all old catfish ponds that have been formed up with pits in them (planted with soybeans), CRP (awesome Rabitt population!), and a few fields that would be perfect for sunflowers. The property has a two story cypress house on it and on the front part has a small brick home (caretaker?). Pumps on each old pond- they had ducks on top of ducks last year, but I never got to go duck hunting there

I've said it once and I will say it again: "it's cheaper to pay a tresspassing ticket than go on a guided hunt." and "it's always easier to apologize than ask for permission."
