just wondering if any of you had the opportunty to purchase your own hole..... i see so many people spending the big bucks to hunt 51 days on a pot-hole that it makes me envious of the landowner.... yes i payed for a lease to duck hunt one year and as purple hayes stated " the judge drove his chevy to the levy but the levy was dry....."
there is an abundance of duckin spots out there and if you do as i did and stretch it out with a banker over a period of years, it will someday be yours...{at my age, i reccommend insurance}... just wondering....

first year i got the money to enjoy my new honey hole,the farmer went with a 2 year lease. a doctor will probaly out bid us then, or a old judge. hope to get up your way this season,or meet at the waterway for a goose slaying. but as far as buying a hole maybe in a couple of years. then youngins got to get a degree.

Hey guys. I'm new here. Been spending some time at the Refuge and Duckaholic told me about this site. Great site, and full of MS boys at that! Yeah Judge, I got in a hole this year. Was really lucky too. It's an island in the MS River. A preacher friend got me in. May just be for a year but what a year it will be!! Ducks and Deer in the MS delta...nothin' like it in the world.

hey Rev, Scooter don't know it but i co-signed his name to my loan..... guess i ought to let him and little scooter enjoy a hunt or two...... i guess that makes us partners...... maybe ought to let them share the top bunk0bed where all the heat is.....
