Boat Mechanic?

Just some electrical stuff. My aerator, dashboard lights, and one running light is out. I have a Tracker, and probably don't need to go to the Tracker dealer to have that kind of stuff fixed. Does anyone if Art out on hwy 51 can fix those kind of things?

I would take anywhere but C&S Marine. I have had nothing but bad experiences there. Good luck.

feedcall, look under the console and find the fuse box. The wires that clip on the top of the fuse box, wiggle them. I had the same prob and moisture makes for a bad connection. Clean them and spray it with silicone spray.

Try RJ's Outboards he is located behind Duncan Marine on Old Fannon Rd and does a great Job on boats

I used to have an older tracker and I started having electical problems like that too -- certain things on the boat would work when they wanted to...... I ended up replacing the entire switch panel with a new one -- it was pretty easy and wasn't that expensive

Thanks for the tips. I have had a problem with the wires going into the fuse box before, but I haven't used Silicon spray. I will try that. Thanks for the tips

Well I had the trim wire short out on my motor last week so I took down to RJ's and he had me fixed and back on the water 1 day later

RJ's -- great guys. Seeing as how we are in a boat just about every day, we require frequent maintanence and RJ's is who we use.
