When did Browning quit making this gun??

Allegedly, when the Beretta folks (was being mfg. under their 300 series, patent agreement) walked into the factory in Lisbon, Portugal (1990ish) and discovered things which concerned them with said agreement being revoked ASAP..this was conveyed to me by a Browning rep. several years ago.
The A-500 & G-500 models came out shortly afterwards..subsequently, followed up by the BGH series..Browning has introduced five "new" semi-auto's in the last twenty (1975-95) years.

Very early 's, I believe. It was made mostly from rebranded Beretta 302 parts, you can see the "PB" on the barrels and other parts. A lot of people around here are still shooting them.
