I hunted at Panther Tract last weekend, right on the north boundry of Panther swamp, limited out both Saturday and Sunday. I watched about 5-6000 ducks come outta there about 8:30 Saturday morning.

chit man...i must be in the wrong hole...mostly woodies with a few teal mixed in where we've been...it's been a lot of work for 2 ducks, but i guess that's a limit too.

Nope, I have a lease up at Dundee, hunted a guided hunt last weekend and did well, even killed a banded Mallard Sunday morning. I have nothing to hide, I have managed to be where the ducks want to be for most of the season.

we gave our lease in silver city a rest this past weekend and our whole club hunted in all corners of panther swamp. 10 guns and 4 birds for the whole weekend.. weve hunted the swamp for over 6 years and ive never seen it this slow in the swamp as it is now. but if you just like to ride your 4 wheeler and chase rabbits then theres not a better place in the world to do so. but theirs not any ducks in numbers. just like MC3 said, mostly woodies and a few teal.jt

Not Panther Swamp. They border each other, but one is private, and the other, well....

Duhh....yes I am well aware of that, I was right on the North side just across the ditch from Panther Swamp. Regardless, I killed ducks last weekend, a limit Saturday and a limit Sunday right next to where the original poster asked......so sorry I offended the experts here and answered a question!

Used to have some bodacious hunts there back in the day. That place would flood about every third year, and when they had uncut flooded beans in there....unreal! We would shoot them one day on Como, then the next day on Panther Creek north of the hwy. They'd go back and forth, never leaving the area as long as there was flood water in the beans. Those were the days of the duck tornados you could see for miles.
