That's a hell of a way to talk about a school you have paid so much money to. I think I might could have found something to learn about over at Bama if I were you. Must have been a real waste of a few years from the sound of it. ;)

I have no problem with any school until I find out that they have an overwhelming number of what I like to call "adopt-a-school" fans -- with little or now real ties to the institution. LSU, Ole Miss, and Bama have too many of these -- and, for the life of me, I can't figure out why.

I have no real problem with your post until I found out that it has an overwhelming amount of what I like to call "no point made" -- with little or no real meaning. And for the life of me, I can't figure out why.

Hope I have not offended you. I will try to make more definitive points in future posts, sir. ;) I hate hearing 77 dis his own school is all. I must just not understand the mystique of a school not attended.

I really have no problem with ole miss or state, the only teams i don't care for are auburn and LSU

I know buddy. I just said something that i knew you would respond to. Do you know who this is? DS's smart roommate. LOL

You have a completely legit reason for liking Bama, man. Just yankin your chain. Had to defend the Ole Miss and State SUX statement -- you were only half right.

Just a suggestion for our Tide brothers bringing us all such great holiday cheer  ---there is no cause to get too high and mighty just yet ---next season there will be no Croyle under center or Darby in the backfield. Could be another long season like the two preceding this one. Sorry to provide a dose of reality amidst the "return to glory" fantasy. But, such a fantasy may take a few more years to become a reality.

This brief interruption of the UM and MSU bashing by the Tide is now over. Please resume your piling on to the existing misery ---it helps us build character. Thank you sir, may I have another.

I've never denied that next year won't be bumpy. Especially with the schedule.

It's moreso the result of the sanctions than anything else. Believe it or not, we are still thin due to them. I fully expect 2007 > to have us right back to where Bama should be.

I personally have never stated that any "glory" years are back. It's funny how this thread is percieved as Bama fans boasting about anything of the sorts. But it sure is nice playing on New Years day. The Mississippi sweep is also back in full force, but then again thats not much to hang your hat on.

BTW, Darby will be a Senior next year.

What does a tick and an alabama fan have in common? They both can live off a dead bear for thirty years

I thought it was maggots, not a tick?

Either way, two thumbs up on the originality!
