WHAT SEASON FORMAT ARE YOU IN FAVOR OF

JUST LOOKING FOR SOME INPUT.I LIKED THE 99-00 SEASON.IT WAS GOOD TO HAVE TWO BREAKS DURING THE SEASON.GOOD FOR THE DUCKS,HUNTERS,DOGS AND WIFE.THE 01-02 SEASON COULD BE SET UP THAT WAY START AFTER TURKEY DAY NOV.23,24,25 THEN CLOSE. OPEN UP IN MID DEC.THEN CLOSE FOR A FEW DAYS AROUND X-MAS.THEN OPEN TO JAN 31.

If I had to pick I would go for the way LA does it. I don't know how that would work in MS, but LA has and East and West zone. With slightly different season. This leads to the ability to hunt more than 60 days in the same state. I really like that set up. I also like MS going to the end of Jan. that is a big plus also. However the time to let the birds rest some is a big thing also. Then you get a few opening days another plus of LA's seasons
