Loss of a Friend
Not sure if any of you know this young man, but i had the honor of doing so. I ran track against him, showed in 4-H with him, and had many classes with him here at MS State in Agribusiness. He was amazing to be around and he will be truly missed. Please keep his family and friends in yours prayers during this trying time.
INDIANOLA - Funeral services for Kyle Patrick Giachelli will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Sean Atkinson will officiate.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today at the church with a Rosary service following at 7 p.m. Boone-Card Funeral Home in Indianola is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Giachelli died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, from injuries sustained in an accident in Starkville. Born Oct. 27, 1984, to Tommy and Daisy Giachelli, he was an agribusiness major at Mississippi State University and a member of the Beta Tau chapter of Kappa Alpha Order.
A 2003 graduate of Indianola Academy, he was a member of the varsity football team and was chosen Most Handsome and Most Athletic by the student body. He was a member of the Sunflower 4-H Club, where he won numerous awards and prizes. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Indianola.
He was an avide hunter and outdoorsman and had a tremendous love for life, his family and his friends.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas Patrick and Daisy Lee Hughes Giachelli of Indianola; two sisters, Lynsey Belle and Kelsey Lee Giachelli, both of Indianola; one brother, Jarrett Thomas Giachelli of Indianola; his paternal grandfather, Morris Giachelli of Indianola; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Pallbearers include Heath Smith, Jonathan Sykes, Drew Burton, Peyton Crawford, John Rhett Presley, Geoffrey Nance, Chris Tharp, Jamie Lester, Russell Woods, John Harreld, Maury Giachelli and Matthew Giachelli.
Honorary pallbearers include his brothers in the Beta Tau chapter of Kappa Alpha Order at Mississippi State.

I don't see how releasing her was any harm....she was charged with only DUI at the time, and i doubt she is a run threat. Not condoning anything that she did, she'll pay the price in the end.
Bad thing that happened to that guy though...I didn't know him personnally, but we had mutual friends, none of them ever said anything negetive in his direction.

The Burton boy is from Isola and mishaps seem to ccur around this young man.
This is the second time Drew has lost a very close friend. I do have to say that it had been rumored that Kyle was ready to go and Drew wanted to stay. This isn't true though. They were both still having a good time.
I just thought i'd say that in case anybody had heard that particular story.
It seems like Indianola goes through this pretty often, or at least more than most areas. All very tragic cases.
