Insurance?

Tell me what kind of medical coverage (if you have any) you guys have on your dogs. With LuckyCharm and my wife's dog the vet bills look kinda steep at the end of the year when you add'em up. Both dogs are in good health, so the bills are pretty average, but you never know when something may go wrong.

Just wanted to know what some of yaw's opinions are, and if it's something I need to put more thought into.

drum, i talked to my insurance agent about a year ago to see if i could get insurance on him. he told me no. if you hear of any, let me know.

I don't have insurance on my dog, but have looked into it. I just put money put back each month for her routine visits and in case something comes up. It seemed like a better option for me at the time, instead of paying a premium each month for something that might not happen (accident/injury/surgery) or that might not be covered under the policy.

There are numerous companies who offer it, just do a google search for "pet insurance." I know there's something through AKC, I got info on it with the registration papers.
