Oh, now how did I get dragged into this? :?

Todd, I saw Michael at Gateway in Clarksdale a little while ago. First time I've seen him I guess since HA.

tsbadb, as a site sponsor let me be the first to say yours is about the most generous offer I've ever seen extended here. It's guys like you that make this site great at times. Hope MSDuckmen takes you up on it too, but take it easy on the old boy, he can't walk 10-15 miles through the swamp as fast as he once could and he likes to sleep in too (usually to about 2:45). Hope you got some real decoys because he's partial old clorox bottles.

It looks good i'll have to admit take all motorized access out sounds good but I don't think it would stop there niether do alot of other peolpe incuding game wardens and biologist and who's to say they will stop at 21,000 acers.

Let me tell you something tsbadb,
You’re a young man that hasn’t got a clue on what he is talking about.

This is what the Sierra Club is attempting to do.
They want to create a place where no one has the ability to cut the timber, Cut roads through the place so you 40 day hunters can ride your 4wheeler to your stand. They want to preserve the wild under the wilderness act which means when your grand son wants to go see true wilderness they can do it without some forest commission building levees all around it and putting in some federal park.

Yes it will limit the motor traffic, It will remove the Forest commission from being able to destroy the land. It is already in tack throughout the west. Ms has only one tiny little place reserved on the coast yet people like you spouting off what they don’t know, want to stop movements like this. It will not affect your hunting or your ability to use the area. It will simply stop the destruction of a natural forest from human manipulation for ease of use.

So if it passes then you will be required to walk in to your stand, You will be required to drag your big deer out or learn to quarter it and pack it out. I know how that must hurt you big game killers.

Learn what the Sierra Club is about before you bark off. The majority of the members are hunters.

Being the sharp man/boy you are, you need to learn that people can see though BS.

40 days a year. BAWAHAHAHAHA

You want to know what it is really about and create your own opinion on this matter I suggest any of you contact Davis Mounger at 662-320-6645 and learn for yourself what he is trying to do for Mississippi before you respond to someone like tsbadb’s request to stop it.

MS looks like you know how to read a least and as for David Mounger and the so called Friends of Mississippi Public Lands and the Serria Club they can take that crap about saving the forest and the wildlife and blow it up somebody elses ass did you not read what i wrote cut out the motrorized access I would love it because I am a hunter unlike your tree hugging ass, every Biologist that I've talked with said the same thing you can't not manage this tract of land between the flooding that occurs here and the beaver problems the forest would not make it. I know what the Wilderness Act of 1964 says and out west it might work but in the DNF it doesn't fit. It says it allows hunting, fishing, camping, hicking and your your friends the horse riders but if you dig a little deeper it also says these actvities can be limited or cut out all together this is our concern and no motors in the river are they crazy I know of some mighty fine duck holes that the only way to them is by boat & motor!

seems like most involved in this convo are fairly passionate about the subject, THAT'S a good thing......

some may be misinformed, sure, but seems like "most" involved in this argument want generally the same thing.....

seems like folks could get around "name-calling" in order to get a point across, and presumptions, and my Gawd the chest thumping.......just looks stupid.......just thinking,

Tree hugging stuff huh… hehehe
You know what the act says huh? Well how about telling us then. I know and will gladly mail info for those interested.

Secondly, All government land could be cut out from under you young man. They attempted that with the Federal WMA’s three years ago. Where were you then?

I did dig deeper and the real problem many of your bio boys that are raising such a fuss are more worried about keeping their jobs and territory than anything else.
It is really amazing to me how all these forest survived all these years without man’s help.

Men are the problem. Not the beaver.

No motors in the river, Now that is a problem. To ask a real 40 day a year hunter to have to paddle his way around.

BAWAHAHAHAHAHA

Gator -- That one was for you....
