Have any of you read any of his stuff?
He was a firefighter from Oxford, MS who spent his spare time writing stories about his youth, then progressed to novels. It is a shame to loose such a poet in so little time.
I just read Joe, and it was some of the best writing I ever read.
I just got in my order from amazom, all of the rest of his books.

Larry Brown and my mom were 2nd cousins. He was actually from a small town outside of Oxford called Tula. Very good writer and unique in his own way. Its was kinda funny seing his name on the forum. Hope you enjoy reading.

Read several of his books. All were very good reads. Some of his stuff is very Faulkneresque.
