A little off-season fun

Postby Wildfowler » Sat Apr 28, 2018 4:31 pm

This is what I like to do with my free time when it’s not duck season. What about the rest of you? I know y’all aren’t hibernating until duck season rolls around again???

hahah

As far as I know, I only got one of the small ones. This rooting heart attack is the largest sow I’ve ever killed, I’m sure.

20” 308 rifle with a pulsar XP50 thermal scope. The first one pictured above dropped 75 steps away. I was also using a rooftop mounted thermal scanner that’s hooked up to a monitor on the dash my truck when I spotted these hogs.

For tonight I’m hoping to coax a coyote out. My local crack dealer loaned me his helmet mounted thermal monocular that just came in. Dam-it. I’m sure another $2500 is about to fly out of my wallet. Hahah

I like how you can hear the bullets hit them in the video. You can definitely hear this live.

That “thud” just warms my heart!!

Yeah yeah yeah.

Seriously, this stuff is cheaper than it used to be.

And by else got any hobbies they can share?

Pictures of dead fish? Videos of turning duck calls? Photographic journal of a wooden canoe building project?

Anything?

I’ve had a standing invitation out here to supply a second Night rifle if someone has hogs that need shooting.

If you’ve got hogs and in the Warren, yazoo, Holmes, Humphries, LeFlore, leake county area let know. Other areas upon request.

My only criteria is that you must be a long term active member here. Or referred by one.

I fish a little. Build stuff out of paracord. Shoot things.

Supposed to be helping a fella remove some beavers from a few ponds. I'll try to get a few kill shots on camera.

Mostly just dog leashes/collars, gun slings & key chains right now. Still trying to figure out the different knots.

This is a 10' leash that I tied up a few days ago.

But I get to shoot stuff some too. Mr E's Gator Gobbling Stribbling there got ole boy seriously aggravated. Which was his demise.

Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
