What a boob. I guess if Freeze would have walked the line and said the same, he would have been the most eloquent speaker since Faulkner. Talk about making something out of nothing. He should worry with the happenings of Ole Miss, and not trying to make it sound like he isnt a leader by not "taking a stand on the flag issue". He's a football coach, not a politician. Makes me wonder what Freeze said that would make his boy toy Kellenberger salivate over?
What I wish Mullen would have said is something along the lines of:
"WE dont have a problem with flag issues at Mississippi State in Starkvile. No noose and flag on statues within the past few years, no department of justice inquiries on race relations, no Klan rallies on gameday in front of our trademarked admin building, No one yells 'The South will rise again' after Who let the dogs out, or the National Anthem, I've never seen Bully with a mustache and a cane impersonationg a platation owner, no history of confederate flags in our stadium and we dont have talks about banning something "historical" to our university every few years. In fact it's such a non issue at Mississippi State, I dont have a comment".

I'm not a Kellenberger follower. What did he say?
"Sir, I never take a chance when shooting waterfowl...
I believe in hitting him very hard with big shot from a big gun....."

No, you see, when talking about the liberal arts college, you have to play up everything's significance.
He's just another yankee, from Boston or some such establishment up north, pretending to know what's best for the state.
Re: Hugh Kellenberger
Don't sweat it. Think of it like this. Many have UOM picked as a playoff contender and MSU to finish 6-7th in our division, yet he's still obsessed with smearing Mullen. #rentfree

Re: Hugh Kellenberger
I may be taking this the wrong way, but from my understanding I heard Freeze say today that the flag should be changed and would be open to discussing the removal of the Rebels.

Re: Hugh Kellenberger
Yep. Was a bit surprised. Look at OMU getting all progressive.
