That is unequivocally, 100%, without a shadow of a doubt not true. Knowing past presidents and CEO's of DU quite closely, I can tell you every single one of them is a staunch duck hunter. In fact I never met a single anti-hunter that was a DU employee. It may surprise you, but I have my own issues with DU and it will be a struggle for me to give them another dollar. However, they put over 80% of fund raised directly back into conservation initiatives and habitat on the ground. I don't know of any other conservation group that comes close to that. There's only so much land, and very little of it is not private. So if you only want them to do projects on public land, they would have run out of land a while back.
