Quackers, $3/lb uncooked correct? Either way that's the "cheapest" I've heard. Most around 5-6.

I believe the part owner in that place opened up a place right off Lakeland and Castlewoods called Seafood King. We ate lunch there yesterday and it was good and priced very fairly. He was selling cooked and uncooked crawfish non-stop the whole time we were there. Very friendly guy named Mike that owned it. They have only been open a couple of months. They were cheaper than the place in downtown Brandon and the one on Old Canton in Ridgeland that we usually go to.

Unless something has very recently changed and I can't imagine why they would, Mike @SK isn't an owner of any part in T'Beaux's. Mike is a relative of Kelly Ray that owns T'Beaux's and worked at T'Beaux's for a while, but that is it.

Hi all! Though I'd take a minute to clarify a few things on this crawfish thread...since I'm the T'Beaux's gal around these parts. Hope y'all don't mind!

Mike Ray, who owns the Seafood King, IS a family member...but not part owner. He was employed by us many moons ago, then was hired by The Crawfish King, and now has his own business, Seafood King. There was also a rumor that Rob, our manager at our Byram store, is part owner as well. Just a rumor :)

Thanks JB! We try to purge all of our crawfish, but unfortunately, we don't always have the time and almost never have the space in our little shack to purge the amount of crawfish we receive on a daily basis. We do, however, wash each sack of crawfish thoroughly before cooking.

Thanks to everyone who suggested T'Beaux's for your crawfish! We hope to see you soon! :D

The guys at MOF know that I am generous if they catch me there. I'm new to this forum, but I am friends with quite a few members on here; specifically Randy Wallace ... He can attest to what we do :) Usually I say, let me know you're on the way and I'll see what I can do! Facebook is the best way to contact me ... especially during crawfish season, bc it's pretty much all I have time to tend to.
