Delta, I have it on good authority that Marshall Henderson is working the mop and bucket now at the Sad Pad. Always a hero, that kid. :lol:

Ray has had a lot of bad luck. Injuries.

Not sure how to say this - Stansbury won at State but people questioned his players actions. Kennedy has won at Ole Miss but people have questioned his players actions. This is basketball and if you run a clean program not many wins will come. You have to make a decision - Do I want my team to win or do I want a clean team that loses.

Did not have a problem with getting rid of Stansbury but an SEC school with a pretty good basketball history hiring someone like Ray is embarrassing. Every time I hear him refer to Sword as chicken instead of using his name I cringe. He is in way over his head. I bet Pearl has Auburn in postseason play next year while we are supposedly still rebuilding.

Never said I liked the guy but I bet he has a better team in year 2 than Ray has in year 4. Who do you think will have more wins next year, us or Auburn?

Stang - Exactly what I said above. People should support Ray even when losing or fire him and hire a Bruce Pearl, Kennedy, etc.

I don't know what the answer is but I know it's down right embarrassing. Ole Miss loved it and they should b/c any quality player ain't coming to MSU anytime in the near future. I sure wish we still had Stansbury right now. It also amazes how bad the SEC is. The teams SUCK, to couple that with Ray I see don't MSU basketball going anywhere.

agree with everything you said, but this year sec is actually better than it has been in quite sometime. as of today, seems there are 6 teams making the NCAAT. that's a pretty strong showing compared to years gone by

I didn't want to say, because it's completely subjective, but, yeah, the whole game is just terrible now. Even UK is tough to watch, and they are light years above everybody else. Until those phenoms get some solid team coaching and some Euro teammates, they'll stay tough to watch.
