Rhino or Rob Roberts Gun Work
Got a sx3 I want to get worked on for turkey season after I check a Briley choke that came with it. Was going to send it to rhino but have heard good stuff about rob Roberts turkey gun work. Info, opinions?

I don't know what your overall purpose is, but I would suggest going to Nitro's page and trying their recommendation. I know every gun shoots a little different, but I matched the shell and choke to my 870 super magnum and killed a turkey stone dead at 55 yards.

do this. just spend the money on the custom ammo rather than having your gun tinkered on.LawDawg wrote:I don't know what your overall purpose is, but I would suggest going to Nitro's page and trying their recommendation. I've heard very good things about Rob Roberts and have contemplated sending him my sx3 as well.

I had a bad experience with Rhino. Wouldn't do business with them again.

Ordered a choke and for some reason the threads didn't fit. The owner, Joe, asked me to send my barrel to him. This was shortly before turkey season and he said if I would overnight the barrel he would get it handled and overnight it back. I don't remember how many calls it took to finally get my barrel back but do remember them telling me they didn't receive it a couple times (thank the Lord for tracking numbers). Couple more calls where they were working on it. Then Joe wouldn't return calls and then it finally showed up (wasn't overnighted but speed wasn't important at that point in the game).Trappey wrote:Randy what was bad w them if you dot mind me asking. The choke, unlike their service, is flawless. However the are several folks out there making chokes of equal quality now with far superior service.
