If I put your # on a fraudulent ad and ripped somebody off...would you feel liable? Sticky situation and I hope you get your money back or some resolution; I wouldn't count on holding the dad liable. Whole deal sucks...lilwhitelie wrote:Dude posted add on dec 10 and I bought it hook line and sinker. Met him at his dads as he was using his dad's number on the add. Then he wrote bill of sale etc but then lied each day they were supposedly ready. Waisted time and gas loading trailer and meeting him to have him not answer or be where he was supposed to be. My best bet to get my money is from the father whose number was listed on the add. He claims he has no liability but it was his number on the add.

I see your point but the father knew whT his number was being used for as he passed message to his son regarding stands etc. he admitted the son was using his number for the add. If dad didn't wanna partake he could have just said I had the wrong number when I called. Same thing I would do if someone posted a fake add with my number.camlock wrote:If I put your # on a fraudulent ad and ripped somebody off...would you feel liable? So, why is it that y'all are paying this guy before the work is done?
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.
