Delta Thugs/Thieves

Postby bwilli3 » Wed Nov 26, 2014 9:35 am

To say I am mad is an understatement!!!! My truck got broken in to last night to the tune of about $5,000. My wife went out to warm up our vehicles while I was showering and came back in with the great news. Just what I wanted to hear at 6:15 pre coffee. In all they got a S/W 9mm, Taurus Judge(that I haven't even shot. 2 weeks old), tablet, laptop, stinger lite and the one that gets me the most.... MY FREAKING BOW!!!!!!!! The tablet and laptop never stay over night in there but yesterday evening I for some reason went ahead and put them in there. My bow was in there for after work quick hunts. The sheriff seems to be very certain as to who it was that did it. He wouldn't tell me a name because he said "You're super mad and super big". For those who don't know me i'm 6'6" and 275# and he said the other guy was a little fella. He did slip up and tell me he rode a bike everywhere. On one hand I want to see a fella on a bike and on the other I know its best I don't. Living in Doddsville with maybe 200 ppl max, I know its bound to happen. So my word of advice is keep anything of value inside. Its the holidays/hunting season and they know whats in our trucks. Sorry for the long rant but i'm blowing steam out of my ears. Hope everyone has a better day than I am. God bless and Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry to hear that. I keep nothing in my truck. That's what gets you broke into. It's sad that you can't but it's the world we leave in.

I had issues with them twice the first time I basically did nothing and the second they knew who he was. I went made papers out on him for stealing a watermelon from a refrigerator under my carport. You should have seen the face of the democrat I filed the papers with. I was told that he was out on parole and was taken back in for 3 years because he stole a watermelon. He tried to get tools and other stuff but for some reason dropped them in my neighbors yard. The police wanted to look around in my shed and I said go right ahead, that is when they got to know my democrat hating black lab. I have not had any problems senses that day, I think the word got out that black labs are hard to see at night time.

Had the back page stole out of my farm checkbook that was in my truck during harvest season (Tippo). Check got forged and cashed in Kilmichael. I thought "what is the connection with my checks being stole and cashed in Kilmichael???". Well the crook that stole the checks was from Doddsville! Happened to be working for a guy who was on our farm and just took the opportunity to hop in my truck and tear out the back page. Crook's dad worked at a grocery store in Kilmichael. Told his Dad that he had been working for me. Bank caught it so I was not out of any $$$. Grocery store owner called and was trying to get some info so he could press charges and get his $$$ back. Apparently the crook had been in alot of trouble since moving away from his folks in Kilmichael to Doddsville. Said he "sold" the other two checks to some of his buddies there in Ruleville who knew how to get them duplicated. Not happening as the bank stopped payment on those. Happens everywhere I know but seems as if Doddsville may be in the upper tier of thugery.

Mine got broke into in Clarksdale about a month ago. Took my hunting back pack and another bag which totaled about $1,800. I had taken my bow out a few minutes before and was going to get the back pack later on.

These crackheads and non swimmers here are relentless. They never sleep, they roam constantly and steal everything from copper wiring to patio furniture. I have always said I would hate to shoot some one for stealing my stuff. Well after you get ripped off two or three times, you start changing your tune. Maybe pepper spray and a baseball bat would be enough.
There will be a day....

Yea I know for the most part its my fault, but I always was that guy saying "it wont happen to me". Crow never tasted so bad. Amazingly I have already contacted my local insurance agent and even heard from the claims rep in Virginia about it. I was impressed seeing how its the day before a holiday. My boss told me to go home early but after the halfa$$ description the sheriff gave me and the direction he pointed that the "suspect" lives in, I didn't think it would be a great idea for me to have many hours home alone to ponder over the situation. Hopefully I can recover at least some of my items. The guns I think are good as gone but I think a crackhead on a bike with a bow might draw some attention. Guess I can wish in one hand and..... well y'all know how that ends
