With all the recent success of OM and MSU, will you all accept all the sidewalk alumni that will undoubtedly flock to your program or will you disown them?

Not sure how our team (MSU) or the UM team's fans will be able to stop any wagon jumpers. They apparently don't have loyalty to their former team
so we don't expect them to have any to our teams. True fans have always been fans, no matter what the team's records were. We wear our colors no
matter what the rankings have us. Now that we have finally gotten the opportunity to be excited, just let us be excited while it lasts. Since we've lived
through all the bad times, we are realists and understand that we can take AP poll numbers with a grain of salt, because in the SEC West division, things
can change on any given Saturday. Smoke em if you gottem, and HAIL STATE!

It's inevitable with any program. If Bama went into a rebuilding phase and was 3-9 one year, you'd see a lot of "fans" fade out. It's like anything - church, work, whatever - your core group will stick and others will drift toward the latest "thing".

That said, us long suffering MS football fans (both schools) need to soak it in while we can.

Had a dude in Columbus, MS WalMart ask if my kids were Bulldogs...I said no sir, he then went on to say that the 'mecca of college football was only about 15 miles away'. I replied, 'you will need to go a few miles to the east and cross the state line to find that'.......he then followed me around WalMart for several aisles telling me how incorrect I was and how MSU would be the next national champions........classic fan you got there.......

He was wearing house slippers, jogging pants and a white v-neck t-shirt and didnt look like he had shaved in about a month, about 2 teeth in his head......

Good question. How'd y'all handle it over in Tuscaloosa after Saban came in to lead the Tide to greatness after the Mike Shula years and after Franchione spurned your offer to go to TCU? We'd like some pointers.
