The DA BAMA fan trying to throw the drink on someone got what we deserved. However, let's not act like Ole Miss fans weren't throwing drinks the entire game. There were a few drinks thrown here and there when things weren't going so good for Ole Miss. Then when y'all took the lead drinks were getting launched left and right. I'm just glad it was in the section beside the one we were sitting in.

I agree however Redeye this incident was personal to me. I was on the field with my sons under not only this fan but at times 4 of his buddy's throwing drinks for it seemed 10 minutes. My son asked me why don't they just leave?

I personally think security should have just went up and asked the guy to leave escorting him out instead of the tackle.. Seems a little excessive to me.. The guy was not going to kill anyone by throwing a plastic cup… And after its all said and done, what kind of penalty is the guy going to face by throwing a plastic cup??

the problem with those type fans is they do not know how to lose.

No doubt, if you look at the video as soon as the kid saw Saban he immediatly steps to the right to get out of the way. The trooper then threw an unnecessary blow to the neck. I wonder why they cut the video off when the trooper makes it up to Ole Miss Player (#99) and he throws his arm out again.

i was sitting in the middle of the albama section in R. i can honestly say everyone sitting around us were really good. except for one pretensious "turd-cutter". and if he would've gotten in my face i would've been leaving in handcuffs. After the game, i turned around and told the 2 guys behind us that in 7 or 8 bama games i've been to they were by far the best fans to share a section with compared to all others i have. then again, these guys were in tehe 15% not the 85% of all bama fans.

as far as the jackass looking for cups and crap to throw at the crowd on the field after the game. he got what was coming.
