C-Spire question.
I know there are probably some c-spire users on here. Anyone have the old "unlimited data" plan? The one that had the unlimited streaming. I've had it for years, and today I got the 30 minutes streaming message that the wife has been getting since she signed up for the shared data with her mom. Kinda ticks me off that "they" have decided I need a different plan.

Re: C-Spire question.
They left people on that plan for over a year after they phased it out. Mine got changed before that because my wife upgraded her phone and had to upgrade her plan as a result which broke our unlimited so to speak. I called them when I started getting the message and they put us both back on unlimited but it costs us about $30 more each month. That plan was too good to be true. I knew when they were letting two people on a plan have unlimited for $80 and second line for $40 they wouldn't do that long.

I was on it too until my wife lost a phone and we had to replace it. They said that changed our contract and raised our price. I was pissed. A few months later AT&t came out with new $60 unlimited plan and took lots of business from cspire so they sent me a letter saying they were reducing my $243 monthly bill to $189 with no changes in coverage. I am still not a cspire fan but have to use them.
Re: C-Spire question.
Wife and I are still on the old unlimited plan. Have not received the text about changing our plan yet. Thanks for heads up that it's coming. We both are still running I phone 4 because of the upgrade to a 5 or now 6 would cause us to have to go from 3G to 4G so the would put us on a regular data plan that would increase bill. I really don't know why we would have to pay more for using data on a 4g network but I don't know much about that sort of thing.

I never got a text, email, call or anything from them another it. Just all of a sudden they killed my streaming. I've held off on the upgrade for years just because of the plan I'm on. I called them out on Facebook last night about it, and today my streaming works fine. Don't know if they changed it back or not. I went my a store today, but the new iPhone is out today, and there were 30 people in there.Long Cut wrote:Wife and I are still on the old unlimited plan. It doesn't matter which data plan you have whether you use 3G or 4G depends on the phone. It doesn't cost more for 4G than 3G. We were like you and had the $120 for unlimited for two phone plan until wife's phone died and we had to upgrade her and the plan changed because of the new two year agreement.Long Cut wrote:Wife and I are still on the old unlimited plan. The wife and I still have that plan. Plan on keeping it until our phones crap out and then I may just find used ones. Makes me feel good having that plan because I know it pisses them off.

I've always been with c-spire and just upgraded to the iPhone 6. I have the unlimited plan and it is $65.00 a month.

Re: C-Spire question.
I did that a couple of months ago. I wasn't under contract so it was $65. I think it goes up to $80 if you are under a contract though.benthere wrote:I've always been with c-spire and just upgraded to the iPhone 6. I have the unlimited plan and it is $65.00 a month.
Re: C-Spire question.
I know that AT&T won't let you hotspot your phone on unlimited plan, and have started choking down your speed if you use a lot of data on the legacy unlimited plan.
Re: C-Spire question.
I hear the new cspire "unlimited" plan really isn't. I don't know myself, but I've read where people were complaining that cspire would slow them down if their data usage was too high.

I imagine teenage boys watching porn on smartphones all day will get there attention.
