Just got a new apartment and was looking at getting fios from Verizon. They have the sec network from what I have read but does anybody else have it and can confirm this? Also why the hell is it so damn expensive? Is the picture really that much better?

the above link does not list the comcast channel, but i was told 400 (which i think was the old CSS HD channel)
they also told me 716 & 1738.

If you have Directv, the SEC Network will not be on the air til Aug 28th per a Directv rep in timbucktu bangladesh earlier.

supposed to be apart of my package with comcast....no channel 400, 716 or 1768.....they have no idea why "but they are working on the problem."

he must have gotten direct confrused with comcast because one is airing & the other is NOT!
