You are innocent until proven guilty. That ticket is BS, no other way to put it. Also, from what I can gather online that ticket could cost between $250-500...

I knew you weren't bashing, DSG. I was talking to Lodi "Angel Eyes" Quacker. You have really ruined his day with this not being a Mississippi incident.
P.S. If you wear down a plug from shooting, you're shucking more shells than three Tom Knapps.
thats, funny!!! It really is, makes me laugh out loud.
I never said i was perfect. But I dont claim to be either.
Gratton, LA is going to be a different animal I imagine. Dont know if it would be worth your time or not. I would probably just have to go to the court date though.
If he pulled them from his pocket they could have very well been 2.5 inch shells. Nobody knows any different, he can say any thing he wants to.
Thus, my antimosity.
Re: got to love Game Wardens
just out of curiosity, have tried your gun again ,with 2 3/4" shells? just to see if there was a difference? Or if it would do it again. Not questioning your knowledge but just asking??
thanks for the info, I will be checking mine for sure
LODI "angel eyes" QUACKER,, that is funny right there, I don't care who you are

I always thought that if you used the phrase "Would you extend common courtesy from one law enforcement officer to another..." yall could get these things "overlooked
Whatever the outcome, I know it is frustrating because you thought you were legal. Good luck.

Here is something for you to really take a hard look at.
He may have ticketed you BECAUSE you work for MS marine, whatever they are called. As you well know LA extended their state waters and you? and your boys were still writing fedeal tickets in LA waters for snapper. LA officials were and are pissed that MS employees working as the "feds" were overriding their new laws. It may have been that wardens little bit of Payback to you and if it was........ GOOD for him. Sucks to be doing something you thought was right and then get tickets for it huh.
Imagine how the LA fishing license holders felt when they are abiding by LA state laws in LA state waters and some MS boat /fish cop comes up and writes a bunch of FEDERAL tickets for something they paid good money to be able to do in their state waters.
Just a different way of looking at things. That revelation about you being a FED officer may have just exactly what that guy has been waiting on.
