Question about old guns

Postby Ducks&Bucks18 » Mon Jan 03, 2005 11:06 am

My father-in-law decided he wanted to pull out the guns his father and grandfather left him and clean them up yesterday, and of course I wanted to check them out, so I helped. He has some very nice rifles, shotguns, and pistols, some of which date back 100+ years.

The question I have is do any of you know a website that you can look up guns by model, serial #, etc.? I'm just curious to find out a little more about some of them. Any help would be appreciated.

http://www.gunshop.com

Then goto the double gun BBS. It's the best info I've ever found on guns....
