Whatever you do, make sure you get stickers and a hat or no one will believe you have one.

Can I borrow yours? I dont do stickers and I dont wear hats......If you have nothing positive to add, move on to another playground. It's amazing how some folks just cant control themselves.

Now back to the original thread.

The k2 is nice and i would take a look at one but they are not nearly the quality of the yeti. not saying they wont work but if you put your hands on both you will see what i mean. i use yetis for hunting and fishing and use them at my banquets a good bit. probably have used 150 of them this year at banquets. i am not saying they are the best but so far the quality of them has not let me down. a test on you tube shows the engel as being the best at ice retention and i like what i am seeing from the igloo spin off. good luck.

10-4, not looking for a 'name', but want performance. I would rather save $ (if I have to) and buy something nice than spend less and get a knock off. Kinda like my Marlin rifle will kill a deer, but I sure like shooting my custom rig.

Muchas gracias.

LOL, good point. Although I think only 25% of those wearing the superior stylish hats actually own one.

Whatever did we do back before the days of $400 ice chests? I do recall that ice lasting 2 days in a cooler vs. 3 was a major crisis.

I used to gig suckerfish in February/early March in blue jeans and cheap Franklin velco shoes........but I wont do that anymore.........we used carbide lights as well.......not anymore. Yes, I have evolved and plan to never gig in blue jeans again. Buddy called last year and wanted to go said if I wore waders they would put holes in them. I let them go, he said he forgot how cold it really was when it hit the crotch. He went and bought waders. 8)

May want to look at Igloo Marine or Igloo Super Tough. They are no where near the quality of Yeti or K2 but cost about 1/3 the price and are better than the basic coolers. Pick up a can of Krylon Fusion if you want it to be a different color than white.
