Guys,
I put out some Calcium phosphate and salt both in 50 pound bags from the local Co-op for deer last month and they have still yet to touch it. Poured it on a stump. What am I doing wrong??

Re: Question
Depends. Is your property got a good number of deer/will it hold deer? Did you wet it in? Maybe you need to amp up the flavor. Toss in some coolaid or something with a little more scent.
I always uses some combination of ExCaliber(wildwood/sanders) and block salt. I haven't tried the coolaid yet. I just brush a low spot off where water will pool and dump it in the dirt. A few months later I can stick a 4wheeler in the hole.

Re: Question
Mine usually takes some time to "settle" into the dirt.
I also found that mine work better where there is lots of clay.
I find that when I do put one out after turkey season, it is usually used a lot the next year.
