Re: Ask DS: Moving to Ohio
Lake Erie to the north of you, good small mouth, walleye, and perch fishing. Duck hunting will be depressing when you leave Ms and hunt Ohio. Goose hunting in that area should be pretty good though. Re: Source for power poles.
How much are brand new poles?
I would assume they come in many different lengths...... We would need fairly short ones I guess.... as far as new power poles were concerned.
I'm not sure what new poles are going for. Look for class 5, 4, or 3 poles. Class 3 poles will be bigger in dia. You can ...

Re: Source for power poles.
I know when we are pulling old poles and someone stops and asks if they can have them we'll give them as many as they want. Saves us from having to unload them. If your out and about and see a line crew working stop and ask them if they know where you could get some.

+1 this is the way we do it in Ohiokris Schaumburg wrote:if it was me, I would run a bunch of goose decoys if you have them and a few duck decoys wherever you want them to land, with as many spinners as you can get your hands on, right behind the duck decoys.

over the counter tags in Ohio. Licking or Muskingum counties would be your best bet for P&Y or B&C class deer.

Re: Serious as Hell home security alert...Please Read
Funny you post this, A guy from the same company stopped by my house on Friday here in Ohio with the same APX shirt on and gave me his pitch, I told him my two dogs and a shotgun was all the security system we needed. Needless to say he didn't care for that. I kinda thought it was a little fishy also.
