I got 23 or 22 depending on how you score it...or maybe 21 cause I said "ship" not "the bluenose". Didn't know #7, 10, or 20 or 22.

I said 5 for the lug nuts, but lots of Jap cars have 4.

Oh well!

I guess because I'm from the steel generation I just don't get it. I bought a several boxes, and had worse luck than steel, more cripples, and a lot more misses. I assume it's because it's slower and I just couldn't train myself to get in front of the bird. Oh well! On another note:

Ramsey, if you are talking about Shane Smith, his work is second to none. I had a goldeneye done by him and can't wait to see it. He has a cousin in Starkville so they deliver as well...too bad I'm in Illinois now!

I think his web address is http://www.waterfowltaxidermy.com.

Judge,
I promise I will follow up on it. If you could PM me the complete band reading...all numbers that will help. It sure would be awesome. If I can't track down the band I bet they could tell me if it was one from their early banding program. To me it would be an heirloom of countless worth ...

Judge et al.,
This is really fascinating to me. Frederick Lincoln, who used banding to delineate the modern flyways (Pacific, Central, etc.) started his banding program in Illinois. Shortly thereafter Frank Bellrose and I believe Jessop Low and Art Hawkins banded many ducks in that area in the ...

Just wanted to add one thing to Eastwoods thoughts. As a waterfowl biologist/ecologist/whatever I personally am quite comfortable with pond and population surveys, and am a proponent of AHM. However, there is an aspect of waterfowl ecology that we haven't explored well and need to understand: how ...

Hi Scott,
The cost per predator is certainly out there...I don't have that myself but they pay the trappers a flat rate, so it should be simple. I agree the gains in nest success are impressive. I've worked a summer at the Lonetree site in North Dakota and you could, in my opinion, see the ...

I know better than to say anything. Maybe I don't.

The issue isn't and should never have been that predator managment can increase nest success and, based on recent research, perhaps increase ducking and brood survival. The issue for many waterfowl scientists, and hopefully for the waterfowling ...

I'm from the Portland area, 6 generations in Oregon. Oregon has great waterfowling and lenghty seasons. You are 2 hours from the beach, mountains or desert. BUT:

1) It rains all the time.

2) Cost of living is insane. Median housing price in the last Sunday paper I saw (about 3 months ago) was ...

I guess I'm just wierd. Been married 6.5 years, and loved every single day of it. I honestly think it's about treating her as you want to be treated, and making sure that above all you can be each others best friends.

Then again, it seems to be complicated for most folks. We have a pact that if ...

Usually just the first few bytes in the FAT (file allocation table) are overwritten on a delete. Any good recovery software should be able to bring them back.
