No addict, I do not believe gun control laws will keep weapons out of the hands of thugs. I know that much better than most. Read my other post and you will see what I think of gun control as it pertains to the rest of us. I am a firm believer in the right to bear arms. I wish more of us did.

And Scully, we do enforce the laws on the books. The problem is the legislatures who put no teeth in those laws, and the court system who are so overwhelmed they let them right back out. No one has a fear of being PUNISHED for their crimes.
