I know and have seen the bands from Ed White, Jim Sturgil, and Hardin Phillips. I know of one of the Miner Bands harvested in 1982 in Tunica county by Greg Garrett that was not reported or not posted.
Thanks for the post!

I know that Ty Williams. He has forgotten more about duck hunting than most people think they know. Not a bad beaver hunter either.

That's cool! Does anyone know if these birds were all banded in Ontario or are they from all over? Strange as it is, I was looking on the Jack Miner site and saw a bunch of birds from Alabama??? (2000 season).
I would love to be so lucky!

The first two numbers on the list is the year the birds were banded. Like mine was 1998 and Hardens was 1996.
The second number is the date the bird was taken.
I counted up all my bands excluding the few I gave away to kids and have 56 including this JM band.
I have decided to frame up a shadow box and mount my first home made call, bands, a couple pictures and all Certs for the bands. Should make a good conversation piece.

At the rate I'm going.....to have 56 bands, I'll have to hunt 'til I'm 160.

If that is the case why is it not showing on the list above. This list came straight from the Minor web page.

Do you think I am just making this up? What do you want pics, phone numbers. It was killed in Jan. This bird was killed less than a mile from the one killed in 2001 in clay county.

I got a band this year with no phone number on it. I need to get the number off of another band and call it in.
Anyone know what that means?
