Any of you guys got any experience shooting these shells? Good or bad? Had never even heard of them until a week or so ago.
Thanks

Shot them one year and won't shoot them again.

But that was steel.

I can guarantee you it wasn't the shells.

I've probably gone through 5 cases of lead and steel Rio's. Only issue I've had with them were the steel loads smelled like you were shooting a muzzleloader every time you pulled the trigger.

Only complaint I have ever seen or heard it that the ammo shoots dirty.

Great lead high brass. Been through 5-6 cases of 20 and 12. Can't beat the price. They do work on the shoulder though.

I was wondering about them too. I saw Deviney Rental in Madison had a bunch of them SOB's for sale. I always wait till the last minute to buy my dove loads and I thought about picking up a case of these to try them out

My store of choice has them too.

Not to hijack, but why is it every year there seems to be one brand of shell that everyone carries and seems like the only dove shell in town. This year its Rios, seems like last year was Fiocci, One year it was those Diosoni's, then it will be Estates. How come it seems that shotshell brands seem to come in waves?

Choosing the load that they can mass order for the cheapest price at that time.

Shot the Rio 3 3/4 dram #8s last year. Loved them. Will be placing an order within the week, but will probably go with the #7.5s.
