Our police department in Tupelo is really on the ball. Instead of catching the SOB who keeps breaking into vehicles they are having a dick stomping contest with the city council. Cop yesterday that took the report said it was just bad mojo for me. This is the 3rd GPS unit I have had stolen. They also got the satellite radio this time. I put a motion light at the corner of the garage to scare the thief off and all it did was help him see better to steal my chit. I am so pizzed

get you a viper car alarm and set it to quiet. The remote on your key chain will go off and let you know your car is being broken into. Then go out and solve the problem.

you must have a Ford? Friend of mine in dallas has a Ford and has had this same thing happen to him. Apparently, there is an easy way to pop off the key hole and unlock the door. But, if it's not a Ford then i have no clue.

It's a GMC canyon. I have nO idea how they are getting in. I lock it every night. Insurancr deductible is $1k per incident so it is useless. Think I am going to put a camera there are something. This is vetting ridiculous

C-4 wired to battery with door switch as trigger. problem solved. just park down the street aways.
seriously i dont how to stop them, if they want your stuff they gonna get it and nothing will stop them. get a couple cheap game cameras and set them up around your house and truck. have one or two with flash on, and one with flash off close by them so you can get a good face pic. they will see the two and get them but the third should catch him.

I have a viper on my truck. Didn't know it would do that? How do you set it to quiet? This alarm was on truck when I bought it. Accidentally found out it had remote start one day when I bumped the remote.
+1 on this solution

car insurance prolly won't cover it, unless its permanently attached to the vehicle. but for misc items stolen homeowners will dependin on your deductible.
get you a personal articles policy with your homeowners company. cheap, won't affect your home policy if claim is made and pays out quickly.
either that or get you some bird shot and pepper his booty when you do catch him.
