Decoys

Not sure if anyone has already talked about these or not, but has anyone seen the dakota flocked head mallard decoys, i know they are expensive but they look amazing.

Yeah they look really good, but $140 a doz. Little pricey!

Yes, I've seen some, they do look good.

One hint for you guys getting Flocked decoys:
Don't leave them out in the sun!
The flocking is just real fine plastic shavings that have been blown on after glue is applied. The color in the plastic will Fade, and leave you with light green deeks.
I've got some flocked geese with Grey heads that were left outside one summer.

can you throw the flocked head decoys in with the rest or will they get messed up?

I do believe your best bet with flocked head decoys is to use one of those slotted bags like you would use for full bodies. The lil flocking pieces chip pretty easily.

Saw them at the delta waterfowl banquet this year... look very lifelike but there is no way i would pay that much for a dozen decoys!!
