You know what I hate..

shooting a deer and not finding it. Whether it be a doe, a 4pt, 160 inch buck, or in this case a goofy, crappy little cull buck.
Just bothers the he!! out of me. Spent countless hours wading through waist deep water, crawling through briar thickets, and battling mosquitos the size of a quarter and did not find the SOB. I shoot deer to eat and for managment, or throphy purposes and of course because I love it and when I can't find them esp after I feel like I made a pretty good shot it really bugs me but that's part of it. First deer I've ever shot and not found, guess it was about time.

I feel your pain, I made a horrible shot on a doe last weekend an cant get it out of my brain.

Water is a bad deal dude.....deer do float but so low in the water you can hardly even see em.
