I don't think I like it. I grew up in Vicksburg, so when I was able to get back into duck hunting after a long absence, I kind of gravitated to the MSducks forum, Recently found the ALDucks one, and even taking into consideration all the bickering that goes on on any forum, the ALducks is the most hatinest, vicious, "my way is right" thing I have ever read.
There are a few names over there that I recognize from here, and those folks get written tongue lashings daily because they aren't Guntersville hunters. Doesn't seem to be as much negativity from the folks in southern AL, but the northern guys are skeering me.
Just blowing off a little steam I guess, but wanted to throw it out there thet for the most part the folks on here al least try to act like they're grownups, even if we're not.

Oh come on now. Don't be skeered. Have you taken the time to read the whole story on what you're talking about? I think you will find that there are no innocent parties involved on either side of the discussion. There are some giant wooden spoons working over time on both sides. It kind of reminds me of hitting a hornet's nest and wondering why you got stung. Personally, I really don't care about any of it. If you have read my comments you will clearly see that. I try to get along with evrybody.

Obviously you're familiar with the thread I'm refering to. Just seems to me that what should/ could have been a lighthearted and somewhat comical thread turned into a bash fest. I don't post a lot, because I probably don't have any advice worth a hoot to give. Don't see much point in internet fighting, since you can be whoever or whatever you want on the web, and someone else entirely in person. I've learned alot just reading other folks questions and responses and just don't see why the fighting has to get so intense.
In the grand scheme of things, my opinion doesn't count for a whole lot, but just seems to me that most of the folks on this forummay at least ACT a little more grown up.

Couple of guys from over there that are ok, most of them frequent this site.

But, the overwhelming majority of those guys are complete idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell you what I did, I went back and removed everyone of my previous post, deleted it from my favorites and aint been back.

It seems as though most of those guys have something to prove but havent figured out what it is yet.

I just dont get it.

They're all BAMA fans. You can't expect much out of that crew.

I had a buddy who said 90% of the residents of Alabama are idiots, a$$holes, or imports....the other 10% is leaving soon.

In all fairness, it seems to be only a small group on the forum who tend to hijack the discussions with the negativity and bashing. Just seems a bit more grown up over here.

I hear the Sipsey River bottoms holds some ducks from time to time. I met a guy from Alabama on a dove hunt in east ms a few years back that said he'd swap me 2 duck hunts on the Sipsey for 2 duck hunts in the ms delta. I politely declined.
