Have always used a climber and want to get a couple of hang ons for bow season this year. On a budget but want one that will last and hold my fat booty up. Any suggestions?

I bought a loc on/20ft stick set from Sportsman's Guide a couple of months back for around $90. They had a set for sell for around $70, but the platform they offered was too small so I just bought a set of 20ft sticks and a bigger platform for $90 together. The brand is Guide Gear. I finally got a chance to hang it yesterday and was very impressed by their desgn. The straps that they provide to hang the steps are super easy to use.

Cabela's has several on sale in the bargain cave on their web site. All look like decent quality and prices are great.

Millennium. There is no other stand that compares. You can buy one and several sets of sticks and just move the stand around. Guarantee its the way to go.

To save some money, forgo the climbing sticks. Buy a lineman's belt, get a drill, and some big bolts. Use the belt to hold you up and drill holes in the tree and use the big bolts as climbing pegs. Obviously this will not work if you hunt an area where you can not damage the tree. I have done this for years and works like a champ for me.

Millenium stands. Their sticks are cheap, but by far not my favorite. I like rapid rails

I like the rapid rails also, but how do you change the straps out when they wear out?

Millenium stands. Don't buy their sticks. Very cheaply made.
Get you some rapid rails. Only way to go in my opinion.

Millenium looks like a good stand but way too expensive. Went with 20 ft api alumitech climbing sticks and gorilla hx for under $200.
