For those of you that keep your dogs inside at night, do you have a bed for them? I bought another $20 bed at Academy last night but was wondering if anyone has bought the more expensive beds and had them last longer than a year. I want to get my two labs a nice bed but i do not want to spend $150 on one that is not going to last. Any sugestions? We have hardwood floors and that can not be comfortable.

They have them on sale at Bass Pro for $14. I bought one for my dog after he wore the other one out.

I got a big oval one with the bolster in the back from bass pro a couple years ago. They were on sale for like 50 or maybe a little more. It's cedar filled, I need to put some more stuffing in it. Both my labs fit on it just fine.

Excuse my wheat thins...

Each of mine have there own recliners. I was also thinking of getting them a big bed they could both sleep in. I get tired of vacuuming the chairs all the time. Whats best the man made fillings or the cedar?

My doberman sleeps in the bed and the lab usually starts out on the bed but ends up on an old sleeping bag I put down for him on the floor next to the bed.

Keep your eyes open for a Twin size foam mattress. Sears use to sell them in the late 70's and early 80's. Cut it in half and pack it into an old sleeping bag. Works great.

Try to find someone that works in a foam factory. I have a buddy that does one's fire extinguisher systems. He's gotten some memory foam scraps for my dog. Just today he brought home a huge bag of stuffing and restuffed his dog bed.
