A friend of mine killed a 135"-140" 10 pt this afternoon a couple miles north of tara. They were not moving this weekend he said. Another friend guides at tara and as of Thanksgiving they had not killed any monsters.

I went out to the place yesterday and looked around. That was the first time I really been out there in bout three or four weeks. After the beggining of bow season I decided to just leave the place alone until the rut cause I didn't want to mess up my chance at him. This may be the wrong thinking but, we will see what happens. As of now no one I have taken out there has even layed eyes on him or the other shooters I got on camera.

Tara is Mississippi, Willow Point is Louisiana. They are not the same. Owned by the same women, but Willow Point has been bow only for years Tara is NOW bow only. Willow Point North is part of Tara, Willow Point South is Private owned by MS chemical or used to be, I heard some guy from FL was buying it. You should no troubles seeing a 125" deer, they are pretty common.

I think you may have got the willow point north and south thing backwards. Let's ask ole Quinn I'm sure he'll know. Heard he use to ride around in the back of trucks and shoot... check that miss deer with his bow. Things haven't changed much in the last few years!!!!!!

WP South is the one owned by Tara and WP North has recently changed hands and I am not sure who owns it now.
