My wife's father just had to put his dog down. We would like to find another dog to replace it with. It was an australian shepherd. A puppy would be great.

Man I love those dogs, thats all I have ever had, the last one I had I got when I was 5yrs old and it died when I was 21, they are the most loving dogs I have ever been around. My mom and dad bought another one this past summer up in Byhalia(sp?) I will call them tomorrow if you want some contact info for the lady. or my dad can tell you alittle more about the breed/breeder ect... if you want to talk to him.
Call Lee Mitchell at Louisville Brick Company 662-773-7303. He loves this little dog, almost as much as I loved our last one

. Seriously, call him and he will tell ya anything he can about the lady he bought his latest one from

I bought my male australian from a lady down in Laurel named Jeannie Reeves, you can get in touch with her through Reevesaussies.com. You can usually find australians through the Mississippi farm market bulletin. I got my female from a man in tupelo but I do not remember his contact info.

them are some good dogs. had one from 4th grade till bout 8 years ago.... and i'm 30.. smartest dog i ever had.. great cow dog.. only problem was he killed my neighbors calves all the time.. got pretty tired of hauling off calves and making up stories about there disappearances. also.... me and dad used to leave him out on my sisters date nights and watch them ol boys get chewed on

lot of memories with that dog.

I have never heard of one showing aggression to anything, other than cows and non swiming democrats

all of mine have been protective but loving. My mom and dad will never buy anything else. Me on the other hand will only have a lab for hunting but I will always have to have a A.S. for a pet/working dog
