Well Ill give you my 2 cents and will stand by it....I have a sx2 and love it just as you do....buddy of mine got the itch to buy a new gun ..so I talked him into buying the sx3...ill tell you this my friend...i wouldnt have one after I have owned the sx2...yes it is true the sx3 is lighter, cycles the shell faster and comes in the new duck blind pattern...but who gives a rip...that thing will rock your arm off!...it is unreal how much sweeter my sx2 shoots than his...if I was you I would stay with the sx2.

You think it kicks hard? Everyone that has shot mine says it has the least kick of any gun they've shot. I love mine and wouldn't trade it for any other gun.

i have heard that they kick harder than the sx2...but it wouldnt take much..cuz honestly the sx2 is the softest recoiling gun i think ive ever shot...also heard that the sx2 was not in production anymore...they doin away with a damn good gun if thats so!!!!!

I owned a sx2, now have a Browning Silver 3.5. love it. looks like the same guts as the sx2, but man I swear, it feels like it shoots different!

Got a sx3. Light re-coil, tracks well, and best of all it fits me to a T. When I pull up, no adjustment needed. Have shot a SX2, Br Gold, and I think the recoil is about the same on all 3 (very light). I like mine very much.

If they made the gun lighter, you better believe it will have more free recoil, and felt recoil. You can't fight physics, even with perfect gun fit. Ever heard anyone who shoots for money (especially $1K a pop live pidgeon shooters) say "Man, I wish I had a lighter gun?" I didn't think so!

I like my sx2. The only problem that I have had out of it is that it won't shoot the cheaper shells. I tried to shoot the Winchester xperts out of it a couple of years ago, and it wouldn't cycle them through. That is the only complaint that I have had out of it though.
