Cameron parish, LA

9/15/2007--27 teal, 8 hunters, one of which paralyzed on his left side, and another that's virtually blind in on eye.

9/16/2007--28 teal, same 8 hunters.

Could have easily killed a 100+ black mallards.

3 hunters, 2 days, 2 teal

Saturday we could have filled the boat with woodies. I got some video of a drake woodie sittin in the blocks for about 10 minutes completely oblivious to us talking.

Sunday, just sucked but we had a pair of White Ibis sit in the tree above us for a while. They were pretty cool to watch.

White Ibis or Wood Stork?

Not doubting you but I've seen lots of storks lately.

Cool beans.

I've been reporting some of my more rare sightings on ebird.org.

I tripped the filter when I reported one flock of 30 and another of 54 roseate spoonbills. Got an email from the guy who runs the site!

Went friday morning in the sardis area, didn't see any teal, but did get to see a Bald Eagle -- flew right towards us. OleMissDuckHunter guessed from its size that it was a bald eagle and we all laughed at him, of course when it was right over us it was an incredible sight.
