Yeah, I got the same feelin'......been on the river and seen food what hadn't been there for 2-3 years...natural food. Plenty'o celery, snails, duckweed, sago, and ARROWHEAD out the WAZOOOOOOOO! 'Get's an old duck hunter perty excited to see all the stuff the ducks are gonna be findin', when they get here!

'Only regret is where the water level was low enough in some areas to allow the grasses to grow and produce seed, last year, was fulla water this year....'shoulda blowed those dams back in June. Oh well, live and learn......Isn't that what duck huntin's about, too?

The rain has been a heck of an improvement on the past few years. The is definitely plenty for the ducks to forage on once they make it down this way. Benny, have you prepared any holes this year? If so how are they looking?

Some of the moist-soil fields at Noxubee have stands of millet and other moist-soil plants that are incredible. Shots of water just when we needed 'em. Does it get better?
